Reservations:

Reservations are requested a minimum of 3 days in advance. New clients may want to consider more than three days to allow time to schedule a free initial consultation.   A service agreement form must be completed and signed for each visit.   Reservation requests can be made by e-mail, but must be verbally confirmed by telephone by the pet sitter.

Payments:

Reservations confirmed by Hoof and Paws will be honored without deposit (except for holidays); payment in full will be required 2 days prior to the start of service for new clients; we will call you to confirm your reservations 48 hours prior to scheduled service. Reservations for holiday periods will require a $50 deposit to hold reservation, with remaining payment due, in full, 2 days prior to the start of scheduled service. A $5 surcharge will apply to any service that is not paid before the start of service. Returning customers may leave a check, along with a signed service agreement for the pet sitter, on the counter in your home.

Checks should be made out to Hoof and Paws. We also accept cash and payments using Paypal.

Payments for regularly scheduled dog walking services can be paid weekly or monthly at time of service, no deposit required.

Cancellations:

Cancellations must be made at least 8  days in advance for full refund. Reservations cancelled 2-7 days prior to service will receive an 80% refund. Reservations cancelled 48 hours or less will receive no refunds.

Regularly scheduled dog walking services cancelled 24 hours in advance will not be charged.

Service Hours:

Our scheduled service hours are 6am - 8pm daily. We do our best to accommodate special time requests, but cannot always guarantee specific time slots. Priority is always given to pets who require special medical attention and medication. We also give priority, to pets who are scheduled to receive more than one visit per day, to the mornings and evenings.

Sick Pets

Sick pets should be under the care of your regular veterinarian; we will not schedule service for pets who are known to be sick. We are happy to provide service to pets who require medications or have special requirements or needs, such as elderly pets.
